ICW Asia Pacific was officially formed as an autonomous regional network in June of 2014 when women living with HIV from 16 countries in the region came together with passion and urgency to develop a strong and autonomous regional voice for women living with HIV in all our diversity. Our founding sisters sought to ensure a commitment to programmatic work that embodies self-determination and the meaningful involvement of women living with HIV at all levels in the Asia Pacific Region.
Since the formation of ICWAP, our network seeks to lead in securing and improving the quality of life for women living with HIV throughout the region. We do our work through solidarity, mobilizing women living with HIV, building the capacity of women living with HIV and through strategic research, advocacy and activism and raising consciousness on the issues that directly impact our lives.
